Pathfinder Bike Adventures

The Routes & Roads
Remember these countries have different road surfaces and traffic has the right of way from a direction that is not natural to UK riders.
Over the course of the tour you will get used to this and even find yourself having to think about it when you return to the UK... yes, you will be swearing at English drivers for the first 10 miles.
We will be riding through some of the most beautiful countryside in Europe so do try and keep at least one eye on the road, there will be plenty of opportunity to stop and admire the landscape.
Even though we will all have maps and GPS coordinates we will always keep a close eye on the group when taking a turn to ensure everyone has seen it. Usually each rider will keep an eye on the bike behind them and hang back just after the turn to be seen. This will become second nature and other tips will be given to experienced and not so experienced riders with regards to riding as a group in Europe.
These holidays are as much for the faithful pillion hanging on to the back of the bike all day and we appreciate that they may not derive the same manic pleasure that the rider is enjoying which can usually be seen by their remarkable impression of the joker while going through the twistys of the Alps.
Where at all possible we will arrange accommodation at hotels with saunas, hot tubs and pools etc as there is nothing better than dropping those aching bones in a nice hot pool full of bubbles...in a manly way of course!
The Hotels
It also gives pillions and riders a chance to have a rest from the bike for a day and spend the time eating, drinking and generally being merry.
If you can tear yourself away from the local delights this is also a good opportunity to wash any clothes you have. Do this when you arrive and you will have two days for them to dry. You will receive all routes and hotel information prior to the tour which will assist you a great deal in deciding what to pack (see hints & tips).
